ACCESS
Jewelry crafting can only be learned when you have Summerset Chapter unlocked, otherwise you cant use the jewelry crafting stations, but you can still gather the materials
starting quest for Jewelry craft is to get from the NPC Felarian in front of the crafting area in Alinor to become a certified Jewelry crafter older rings and necklaces dropped before Summerset cannot be deconstructed but can be improved or used for research needed materials to create Jewelry can be gathered from nodes all over the maps, called seams.

Additional to the known traits
Arcane - increases max magicka
Healthy - increases max health
Robust - increases max stamina

Now 6 new traits have to be researched:

Protective - increases physical and spell resistance
Triune - increases health, stamina, magicka
Infused - increases enchantment effectiveness
Swift - increases movement speed
Harmony - increases synergy effectiveness
Bloodthirsty - increases damage against low-health foes

UPGRADE MATERIALS
You can only acquire the new upgrade material grains by refining Dust or by deconstructing jewelry

Keen Eye - highlights Seams in the world
Jewelry Extraction - improves your chance to receive materials when deconstructing jewelery
Lapidary Research - reduces the time it takes to research a new trait
Plating Expertise - reduces the number of bars you need to upgrade your jewelry

Leveling Jewelry
If you want to level up your Jewelry fast, deconstructing the highest possible rings and necklaces (not self crafted) gives you the most crafting inspiration
you could buy them which is really expensive or do some dolmen farms for it
